A Maine State Police trooper is warning people about the state’s new stream definition that allows anyone to watch as much as they want on the state channel.
The definition includes live sports, concerts, news and even the state governor’s speech on Twitter.
The new definition, which was approved Thursday by Maine Gov.
Paul LePage, is also not a ban on streaming.
The Maine State Patrol says it has been notified of the new definition and will issue a public safety advisory.
The patrol also says it will notify local officials of any restrictions.
